Keyclone 1.9g freezing on override

I'm having a little problem with Keyclone 1.9g after upgrading from 1.8k today.

I run a WinXP setup, and on upgrading had an issue with Keyclone crashing on hitting override. So I wiped the dir and tried a fresh setup. Still no joy. Even on default settings, hitting override (key or button) will freeze keyclone. Sometimes it comes back to life after 30 seconds, other times it just remains frozen and the only option is to end the process.

I'd be grateful for any ideas.
