Post 3.1.3 non-stop disconnections (unable to open more than 1 wow)

I didn't see any thread on the wow forums, so I am wondering if this is a multi boxing problem, or just me. I can open up one single wow instance and play fine. However if I try to run 2 or more instances, I get non-stop disconnected every 30 seconds or so. Is anyone else having any problems similar to this?

Some Stuff I have tried:

Manually open one instance - no problem

Manually open up 2 instances - constant disconnects

Open keyclone, have it run my 5 startup instances with my pip setup - constant disconnects

Open keyclone, have it set up the Pip on the screen, then CLOSE keyclone, and log in - constant disconnects

Open keyclone, have it run my startup, but only log in on ONE character - no disconnects

Open keyclone, have it run my startup, and log in to TWO characters - constant disconnects



Did they do something in this patch that affected how many connections a single mac address can have with the server or something? Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this?

How much fps you get on each window when you get 2 vs 1 - I had a time where I had disconnects which I think I related to addon flood and low fps

try for a test:

a) disable all addons
b) set graphic settings to minimum

and maybe
c) run from the same wow.exe 2x (maybe if you used symlinks the patch somehow got something wrong)

Basically I gave up after trying for hours. But then today when I tried, it works fine. It must have been a problem somewhere along the way to the WoW servers that cleared up. Thank you for the ideas though.
