In this scenario, what would your recommend...
With having 5 active accounts that RAF has expired on. The main account has a level 80 alliance mage that can be used to boost alts with RAF. Each account has a lvl 42 horde that makes up a group that I would like to save.
Option 1 is to start over with 4 new accounts linked with RAF. Transfer the horde characters to the new accounts.
Option 2 is to have 2 of the alt accounts (not the one with the level 80 mage) refer a new account, (keeping 3 of the current accounts active) then have the level 80 boost the others on the alliance side. The 4 should each be getting double xp from RAF. Then when the boosted toons hit level 60 create a death knight on the main account to be the tank for that group.
Transfer the two hordies to the two new accounts to keep that horde group together. I know the one horde on the main account will fall behind on the RAF xp train but that is ok.
With option 2, is there any drawback to boosting with a non linked toon? The main goal is to get one allinace group and one horde group to level 60 with RAF. I'm leaning towards doing option 2 to save money on transfers and game purchases but I wanted to check here to get some opinions.
