So my 5-man team got put on hold for a bit while I work on my RAF'd alts. I've been running my mage (lvl 77) with my husband's DK (lvl 78 ), and then pairing them up with our geared 80s for instances.

So far we've successfully 2 boxed Utgarde Keep, Nexus, Azjol Nerbub, Ahn'Kahet: Old Kindgom, Violet Hold, Drak'Tharon Keep, Gundrak, and Halls of Stone. I figure that they will be 80 soon enough, and we'll be running Culling of Strat (pally tanking), Utgarde Pinnacle, Halls of Lightning, and (I'm hoping) Oculus.

We're each 2 boxing, so 4 toons in the instance. For all instances but VH, my husband's been tanking on his DK and DPSing with his geared Enhance Shammy. I've been healing on my Holy Pally and DPSing on my mage. I honestly don't think we would have been able to accomplish some of the later instances without the gear that the paladin and shaman have (took a break from alts to raid for a couple months), but I'd really like to be able to say we did ALL the instances on normal with the 4 toons.

Oculus appears to be the only nightmare to face--primarily due to the dragons. My thought was to do 4 DPS dragons and use KeyClone to control each (husband and I both have KeyClone for our multi-boxing teams so we're covered there) pair. We're also shortchanging ourself by 1 player since we are only 2 boxing (haven't had issues so far since the shaman does incredible DPS just auto-attacking when my husband is focusing on tanking), so that might make the final fight harder.

Thoughts? I'd love to hear how other multiboxers have managed it
