I haven't done the full grind, but the notable change to Netherwing, is the Drop quests The Not-So-Friendly Skies... and A Slow Death is 100% drop rate now for the quest items. I don't know if everyone in the group gets one or not, but this is a huge advantage since The Not-So-Friendly Skies used to be ~15-20% drop rate.
