Crits for the Brizzts Lists: Looking critically at my hunters.

Note: Moderator, if you feel this would be better in the PVE section, please move it there... I wasn't sure.

Ultimately I seek advice on how to make the Hunters better in whatever way possible.
Right now my goals are fairly conservative, in that, I've made a list of pre-heroic gear for them.
Eventually, I would like to attempt heroics with this group of 4.

Please let me know what you think.

By completing our group with guild mates we've successuflly run Heroic Violet Hold. We were unable
to take out the final boss in heroic Nexus, but I've made some changes and have improved some gear since
that attempt was made.

I'm a big fan of using the weighted scale system at WoWhead, as it quickly lets you build lists of gear based on the stats you want. They have preset lists for many classes as well - here's one for BM hunters:

Note - if you click on the 'show details', you can adjust the wieghting of each stat to your preference.

I'd like to suggest some craftables for your missing slots.

Back:
Ice Striker's Cloak
Wrist:
Giantmaim Bracers
Ranged:
Nesingwary 4000
or
Drake Mounted Crossbow
Legs:
Giantmaim Legguards

Also for your belt, you'll find it very difficult to get that belt crafted as it requires runed orb's which drop in Ulduar 25, and are going for 1500g each on my server at the moment. Try and grab Torn Web Wrapping off the AH when you can, its a naxx25 BoE, and is close to best in slot pre-ulduar.

That's how i geared my girlfriend's new hunter up.

Also start grinding Sons of Hodir rep in Storm Peaks for shoulder enchants. The head enchant comes from revered(?) with Knights of the Ebon Blade, which you are grinding anwyay.

Thanks Stealthy... that is an impressive tool that I didn't know about... thanks a ton... I like having multiple sources so comparing the lists I come up with here to the ones I came up from MAXDPS is a real confidence booster.

Those slots aren't missing... It's just that I'm not sure how to improve what's already in them short of going to heroics...
If you get the chance to check out the armory links on them, then you'll see that we're in close agreement on those slots.
