    Default Another RAF question

I have 3 account and I intend to upgrade to 5 man boxing. Therefore, I need to get 2 new account.

I can't decide which account A, B, C to link to the 2 new account. Will it be better to link account A to D and E, or link account A to D and account B to E and leave account C without any RAF xp bonus.

Any suggestion given will be appreciated. Thank you.

using your method you get 3 toons with 3x exp. If you went B>D and C>E, that would give you 4 toons with A as a booster.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

i second the above, or substitute "A" for the account where u have a booster. e.g. if account B has a level 80 pally, link A to D and C to E.
also, u might wanna think about which account would benefit more from the grantable levels and set that up accordingly.

Thanks guy....so I should use a booster account C then link A to D and C to E which will yield me 4 account that will get RAF xp.

Will a level 72 Mage be a good booster as I don't have any level 80 chars. I was causal 3 boxing until the computer died on me a few month ago. Now I take this opportunity of getting a new motherboard and CPU that can handle 5 boxing to play 5 chars at one time.

    if you mean this:
    • old account 1 = account A
    • old account 2 = account B
    • old account 3 or the account with the 72 mage = account C
    • new account 1 = account D
    • new account 2 = account E

then, this is what you should do:
    • account A "recruits" account D
    • account B "recruits" account E
    • account C will not be linked at all since it is your booster account with the 72 mage
72 mage is ok for boosting but i suggest you level it to 80. the extra talents and the gear helps quite a bit if you don't have the "motivation" to level to 80, then you might get sick of boosting early. think of leveling to 80 as a warm-up session perhaps? gl.

Thank you, yup that is what I meant. Ok, I will go level up the mage to 80 then start 5 boxing.

For grins, I was testing subbing out one of my lvl 26 hunters with a 60 shaman (account A) and I verified I still get RAF exp (on accounts B and C)
    A linked to B and B linked to C
    A was 60; B and C were 26, all grouped and the 26's (B & C) were getting RAF exp.

So when does the RAF nerf come in? When the booster is past lvl 60?

the 26es were still getting RAF xp coz B & C are linked.
    as i understand it, you have 3x 26 hunters on 3 accounts (daisy-chain RAF = A > B > C). if you replaced B with a 60, then none of them would get 300% xp.
there is no RAF nerf >.< or if by RAF nerf you meant percentage deductions to your xp gained when you have a high level on your team boosting you through, then yeah, normal restrictions apply, RAF or not.

When I speak of RAF exp, I mean in the messages in the combat window where it specifically says (## bonus exp from Recruit-A-Friend). That is how I confirm the whether the grouping arrangement breaks the RAF bonus.

If there is no RAF exp nerf why is it a common thought to not link the lvl 80 booster in any way shape or form to the other (RAF'd) accounts? Is it a popular misconception? A precaution? (No, I'm not referring to this thread specifically, just speaking in general.)
