    Default multi-box friendly raids?

Every now and then I am clearing a "group" dungeon and run into "Epic" mobs. I have killed an under con epic before.. he was green and only two^^. But i have seen a few that I'm sure would take a few groups same level. So If i have it right, each arrow=one group! So any epic is going to be two groups and as many as four groups right? ( level for level ) I would like to slay some of these beasts before they are way under con if and when i can.

My question. Are "most" these epic named in group dungeons doable with multi-multiboxers? Or do they have complex strategies/movement involved? And outside of the rare epics in group dungeons, are any of the "raid" zones multiboxable? We have a few MBs in our guild and Lokked plays on Nek server as well. Would be fun to do some multiboxer raids at some point. At least for the 50-60-70 raids ( I'm sure TSO is out of the question right now)

    ...each arrow=one group!...
Not sure what you mean here Lyon - I normally have the 'old' identification setup in the options where it just actually says under the mob 'epic x 2, x3 or x4' - so pretty easy to tell what your fighting

In the 'old' worlds - any epic is fair game - most are just tank'n'spank, loot, rinse, repeat - these epics include all ther way up to Shard of Hate (SoH) trash which are sincerely quite easy

All epics (at level or above) require mana management skills which can be gained through utilising ACT and the single/dual hit notification addon (the annoying dinging thing) - if you 'spam', good chance the group will go OOM --> death spam inc

...Are "most" these epic named in group dungeons doable with multi-multiboxers?...
    - Majority of epics (x2 to x4) can be taken down with a single boxed group of 6 - this includes all trash and 'most' 'old' world names
    - Some epics - no matter new or old world - you just leave the hell alone (Terrorantula anyone? I'll just sit back and watch...and laugh...)
    - It is very possible to take down low old world 'green' epics x2 to x3 with a group of 4 (I have done this) - but mana management is absolutly critical

'End-game' epics are a different story all together - lot of these guys are scripted requiring different people to be doing different things (i.e., tank may grab mob, someone may have to click something while the rest of the group has to joist in and out, blah blah blah - real cr@pfest if your a single 6 boxer). This will be where you will 'mostly' require multi-multiboxers if you wish to succeed.

One thing to be aware of with SOE and epics - epics are either well-under or well-over conned - it is just a trial be error to find out which is which and how to prepare

...Would be fun to do some multiboxer raids at some point. At least for the 50-60-70 raids...
    - Aim for The Silent City - very nice easy introduction to epic mobs
    - Be aware though - these mobs are way over-conned so don't be deluded by the fact that a well prepared group can chain pull in this zone - just use it as a test of your mana management skills

...I'm sure TSO is out of the question right now...
    - Yes - and I wouldn't be surprised if it is out of the question for the 'majority' of 6 boxers out there - really need multi-multiboxers for this

Check out the epic timeline for more mobs at your level - and of course, don't forget there are the epic writs if your in a guild

i engaged an epic x2 in the clefts last night, he must have death touched me or something.. once my tank was dead, it took awhile to kill anyone else in my group.. i was able to evac all but one. I will have to read up on it a bit more. I want to take some of these guys out when I'm in a dungeon!

My team is only level 44 – I have experience turned off and have been leveling via quests & discoveries. I’m just about finished with Zek, the Orcish Wastes. This is my first time playing at this level – I played a lot when the game first came out but only single and two-boxed, so I wasn’t able to see nearly as much. Once I finish Zek, I think I’ll check out The Enchanted Lands, and then maybe move on to the tier-5 zone from the original game.

My plan is to play the original zones with this team, as high as I can, and then move on to expansion zones to make it to 80. I hope to play another “evil” team that will play the original evil zones – Commonlands, Fallen Gate, etc. – and another Kelethin-based team that will play the Faydark zones. I am having sooooo much fun 6-boxing – it’s made a huge difference in how I play and enjoy the game. I highly recommend multi-boxing of some type, as the low-level zones are largely empty (which isn’t that much different than WoW on my server, where almost everyone is at end-game).

I play on Oasis (with two other 6-boxers, of which one i'm good friends with). I've only caught crap a few times from /lusers and I just heckle them, /report them, and go along my way. The GMs and Guides on Oasis have never given me any trouble about boxing and most people I meet are pretty cool about it. I hear the same from the other two 6-boxers I know.

If you meant which zones... I'm bringing up my third 6-box teams and have pretty much hit every zone in-game and done almost every quest (except harvest & craft quests) with the exception of high end TSO quests.... That one zone where you have to bounce around the air currents and capture the black balls, while the rest of your team fights the mage at max range and if you miss 6 black balls your dead... yeah... f' that. Otherwise, when you hit lvl 10, just disable combat xp and start questing. Wikia has a great 'timeline' you can follow.

And to answer the original question... I was able to 6-box all of the T1 & T2 Kunark Raid zones as the MT Group or a DPS Group. I had a very understanding guild and we accomplished much. Once you get into the T3 Zones and higher, there's just too much running around for a boxer to do the job. Maybe if you were 'overpowered' for the zone, you might can do it... but as it stands, I think the max Raiding any 3-6box team can pull off will be the T2 Kunark Zones.

I don't know of anyone who's boxed Veshaan's Peak (2 or more toons)... and I'm fairly certain boxing a TSO Raid zone is out of the question... Please chime in if you have data that disagrees!!! (cause I wanna try one day)

The most I've done in a raid personally is 2 box it...but that was before i had a good setup...I just had 2 keyboards. This was a LONG time ago back in the days when EOF was new. I would love to get more into it though. and do it with my full team of 6 now, and one I get them high enough of course I would have to agree that the TSO raids might be a little tough, but Kunark ones should be ok...atleast the T1 and T2 for the most part. I did a levi/vp raid this weekend on my zerk for his mythical (just need thuuga now) and I think vp would definitely be tough to do as a boxer, and Levi while small, may not be easy either due to the amount of curing. I think when it comes to raids, it really depends on the situation because some may more difficult than others due to scripting or just how you have to do them (cures, or jousting, etc)

asgradth: You've been helping me out getting started and everything and it took this post for you to mention you play on Oasis. Well, so do I!!! I didn't realize that you were on the same server. What is your character's name? Well..atleast your main so I can look ya up Mine is Halidis. Also, who else 6 boxes on our server? The guild leader of the guild I'm in is actually a 2 boxer herself also btw. This is actually really cool and good news. I've been worried in the back of my mind about boxing on Oasis because each GM seems to have their own opinion of what is or is not botting, so it is nice to know that you've had no issues on Oasis.

shdwdrgn: I go by Pang (guardian) or Militant (shadowknight) and my guild is Chainsaw Leprechauns (of which i'm the only member), but it is level 27 now... just 3 more to go till i get my own guild hall! I'll mention your name to my buddy... Now I can say I know of four 6-boxers on Oasis. Most excellent!
