New Battleground: Isle of Conquest, a new large-scale siege Battleground, will be open. The Horde and Alliance will battle head-to-head for control of strategic resources to lay siege to the keeps of their opponents.

Thanks Blizzard more sieg, man i hate it even when i solo box it just feels pointless.

If they wanted to get more siege type BG's they need some flight siege weapons or they need to beat it!

People have been complaining a ton about how they dislike strand of the ancients and how wintergrasp is winterfail. So blizzard figres they want more seige. Go high IQ!!!! :thumbsup:

Wow will never be BF1942 with tanks and other vehicles. The whole driving crap to pvp is terrible. I feel like I am playing Nintindo 64 when I drive a catapult around. Very basic design and not fun at all. So their bright idea is lets add a bg where everyone drives the Nintindo 64 cars around.

I wish they'd just cut & paste Thidranki/Caledonia from DAoC's Old Frontiers. So much fun in there.

Call me crazy, but I actually like Wintergrasp...take away the lag and you have a fun battleground where controlling the workshops, and strategically using vehicles makes a difference. I've been in a number of epic matches where the winner was decided with less than 30 seconds to spare.

It's just a shame that blizz took the easy way out and nerfed the dailies rather than address the real issue of lag.

Its just removeing the point of the game, the skill even from solo playing
we proberly all remember the old Unreal Tournament, you had yourself and your weapons. In the follow up games -cars, tanks and flights where added and the whole point of the game died
it didn�t take playing skills to actually play the game, you could just jump in a car and beat anyone no matter how good they where.

I love Wintergrasp and have never, ever set foot in a vehicle there!

I love the idea of an epic battleground. I love the idea of a siege-based game that can and should take a long time to complete, not unlike the old epic AV battles.

The people who don't want that sort of battleground are already well catered for, so I'm looking forward to the Isle of Conquest.

So long as I don't have to drive a sodding vehicle :evil:

I think the point of the bg is everyone is driving a vehicle.

I dont mind vehicle much when i multibox since i pretty much blow them apart..

But its not that easy when i solo play my disc priest who cant kill tanks, sure i can use tanks and guns but tbh i hate it. Its simply no fun and doesnt feel epic at all!

They could fix AV instead of making another crap BG.

One of then do AV in order to pvp and win, the rest do it since its pretty much the best honor you can get on the alliance side atleast.
