    Default Group advice please

    Alright, looking for a bit of advice or any comments about this mixed group I have been thinking about. I have lvl 80 DK-4x shamans already, but it has become boring stacking the same gear etc.

    Goal- Heroics

    Tank: DK and Pally tank lvl 80, I have both
    Dps;
    Dps;
    Dps;
    Healer: I have a 4x t8.5 Resto Shaman, heals are covered....I think

    My question is what next for DPS and also is having a priest for AOE heals that big of a deal with having chain heal and earth shield?

    I was thinking about Boomkin,Mage and Hunter for DPS slot.

    Thanks and as always great community here.

    When i start 10 boxing im gonna run pally tank, 3xele,1xresto sham and 2nd team dk tank, hunter,lock,balance,hoy priest. Those 2 teams have great synergy and will make the best use out of all drops. Hope that helps.

    i think the setup the op suggested seems fine. the resto shammy should be able to handle everything... i mean theres no instance that you just cant do with a resto shammy is there. i dont know much about boomkins but it looks good to me

    The only problem I've had with running a hunter in a group like that is that the hunter will drop follow on Steady Shot (mages with Arcane Missiles as well, but you can leave those out of your rotation). Sounds like a silly thing but on movement intensive fights I find it annoying, and really, when you get right down to it, I'm so used to my toons not dropping follow unless I tell them to that I end up leaving my hunter behind all the time lol. That might be why my hunter is still level 72 :P

    I did not know that about steady shot. Hunter's dps takes a pretty big hit not including SS I would imagine, eh?

    Steady shot doesn't break follow. With a hunter you do have to be careful not to get too close to your target or he will automatically switch to melee combat and that will break follow. (Arcane missiles is a channeling spell and those also break follow)

    My hunter definitely breaks follow on Steady Shot. Even tried at the target dummies. Set follow to another toon, fire a single Steady Shot, and immediately get the message "You stop following". I think it's any spell which directs your toon? Like Arcane Missiles, Steady Shot will rotate your toon toward the target. If Steady Shot is not breaking follow for you I'd love to know how you do it. ?(
