Default What's the best pet and talent tree for dual Hunters?

I'm fairly new to both WoW and Dual-Boxing, so pleave forgive any noob questions I might ask.

I recently started dual-boxing and I'm LOVING it. I use Keyclone and am playing with 2 Hunters. They are both level 29 right now and that's the highest level character I've got in WoW so far. Currently they are both going down the BM talent tree for the most part (with some must-have picks from MM that I read about). They both also have Wolf pets.

My question is: Am I taking the right path? I've been trying to decide if it's a good idea to have one of the hunters have a tank-style pet (like a bear for swipe and thunderstomp) or if they should stay the same. Also I don't know if I should try the MM path for them. Like I said, I haven't played the game long, so I don't know the ins-and-outs of hunter life.

For the most part, I play by myself, no grouping. I'd like to be able to do instances with just the two of them, but I don't know how feasible that is. With my hunters as they are now, if I get more then 3 mobs of equal level attacking once, one or both of my hunters tend to die. Would that change if one of my pets was a tank-type?

I know I've asked a lot of quetsions and I apologize for that. Any help would be most appreciated please. Linking to specific builds on Wowhead and giving specific examples would be AWESOME!

I would use 1 as a tanking pet from that tree like a bear and the other a dps pet like raptor or cat.

I always loved my boars... the first time I had 5 squeeling pigs attacked someone in Alterac Valley I laughed so hard it hurt.

I think I have Gorrillas now, they are supposed to be a good tanking pet but you will probably have to be a about 10 levels higher, they have an aoe thunder stomp or something like that.

You'll likely find that the Wolves will work just fine for now. I'd recommend that you turn off "Growl" on one to allow more available focus on the other pet for damage output, and leave 'growl turned on for the other pet for tanking. For world trash leveling, this should work fine. In Outland, you'll likely need a real tanking pet, such as a bear or boar, although you might be surprised how well your wolves can do.

As SOON as possible, get "Beastal Disipline" in the Beast Mastery talent tree. The extra focus regeneration makes a world of difference in both tankiing and damage output. I'd strongly recommend that you get that on both hunters before spending any talent points in any other tree. If memory serves, you can have both points taken at level 31. Later, when you have much higher level characters, I'd suggest the talent "Go for the Throat" in the Marksman tree. With both skills combines, your pets will use focus like crazy to hold and kill your targets. In my opinion, these skills make more difference than the type of pet you select.

If doing an instance with a tank, of course you'll want to turn growl off on both pets. If you're going to depend on your pets to tank elites in instances, you will for sure want tanking pets! Hunters are great at leveling, but if you plan on doing instances with just two toons, you'll need to outlevel or outgear them by a fair margin. Instances are a huge jump for world mobs. Good luck, and have fun!

I'd go Marks and get Go for the Throat right off the bat, and then dump full Beast.

I've done two different leveling specs Beast and Marks. And beast is by far the funnest/fastest/Safest. But go for the throat will help alot with all the new pet abilities.

Any tenacity pet will tank nicely with thunderstomp. I liked bears because they had the AoE swipe ability which was nice. The bird screech was okay, but it didnt do dmg so after it wore off the extra mobs would come after hunter.
