I don't remember the exact numbers but I'm pretty sure its not much at all. I've played with people who ran on 56k modems pre bc lol.

WoW is surprisingly light on bandwidth usage. There are some players that have pushed upwards of 25 clients running on a standard DSL service line with little noticeable lag. And keep in mind, I believe there are still WoW players using dial-up connections.
If you'd really like to measure out what WoW is using try a bandwidth monitoring program like : Bandwidth Monitor
run that little program during a session and you can see your upload/download speed. Also, in your task manager under the Networking tab you can get some date that should give you a feel for your utilization.
I run 5 clients on some of the worst cable internet service available and average 140-200ms lag times. Which is doable.
WoW - Kil'Jaeden: Aerron (Paladin) Legion of Boom
Warhammer Online - Azazeal server, Erron 25 White Lion, 3x Bright Wizards
Age of Conan - Wiccana Server "Atmos" 6x Tempest of Set (Sacrafice to Set)
Vanguard - Xeth Server "Erron" Paladin, Cleric, 3xSorcerers (Followers of Erron)
Star Wars Galaxies - Bloodfin Server since 2004, Elder Jedi +4 Jedi apprentices
It'll vary widly depending on where you are (number of other actors - either NPC or PC - in view), what mods you run and the cycle of the moon (probably...) but a budget figure of around 5KB/sec per session sustained download will generally be more than enough.
If you have any sort of un-metered broadband connection, it's a non-issue other than for traffic shaping when you want to set aside a specific amount. I use port prioritsation instead though, since both my net card and my router support it.
edit: readability FTW!
I run 31 clients from a single dsl line, its nothing, but there is "network lag" where characters over run their positions because data from the server gets to your computer to slow but thats not due to saturation of the dsl line by any means lol .... just that there is high ping to the server.
You could probably run 100 wows on a single dsl line I would bet, you will never saturate your internet connection if its not dial up.

As Sam said, saturation is probably near-impossible.
But even though I'm only dual-boxing two accounts, I notice lag between the screens. My follower shows she's right behind the main, but shows them about 15 yards behind where my main's display shows them at. When they're standing still, the instant I hit a keybind to make the slave cast something I hear the sound effect on my main's WOW, so it's kinda confusing, they seem perfectly in sync that way but when running around on /follow the slave seems to be a bit behind. Which makes navigating tight corners and spaces a little frustrating.
what are you showing as latency on both connections?
because normally i have between 20-40ms on each connection (Virgin 20mbit Cable) but if I'm downloading something (as well as playing 5 characters) that can raise to 200-400 on each toon and i get the symptoms that you describe and sometimes one of my followers will randomly drop from /follow
