This reminds me: Do you have font sizes increased in Windows in the accessibility settings? That could potentially have something to do with the mouse being off.

It sounds like your desktop resolution is, in fact, not 2560x1600 in Windows. Selecting "Current Computer" will always set it to exactly what Windows is using for the resolution. And this would of course explain why your windows don't fit. You would need to go into the Windows display properties to set that resolution.

Cheers mate, that indeed was the root of the problem. Had increased font size in windows, switched that back to default and alas all is well. Interestingly the display resolution in windows and nvidia control panel both still showed 2560x1600, but the 150% increase in font size was obviously interpreted by IS as a 150% reduction in screen real estate.

    Thanks heaps for the help.

Yeah I looked back before posting and found the issue Zan had mentioned, but nothing to do with the later versions. It was one of those little annoying things though, after getting a new system and setup and not being able to test out its MBing capability.

Saying that, after spending the time configuring ISboxer completely (had just used the multi.iss setup on the laptop) and having the resources to sort lag in most situations, it is now a beastly setup. My guys are all geared in fresh 80 stuff and I played 10 quick games of EotS last night, won all 10 and only had 3 shammy deaths over the entire stretch. The flexibility of keymaps to produce easy formation changes which counter AoE and the group attacks that used to decimate me previously just about make me impervious to AoE now. Aside from that, the other cool thing I was never able to pull off on the lappy setup was having Pitbull UFs and mouseover healing for FFed slaves. I currently have about 100res on each toon and 13-14k health, so I can't even imagine what its going to be like in PvP gear.

    Cheers again.
