I've been getting around it with /commands and in the case of selecting instances in atlas I can get them with very fast and precise clicking if i try hard enough.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

right-click problem with Cartographer is a [url='http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/cartographer.aspx#481071']known bug[/url] . hopefully for the OP, it gets fixed soon.
Calling me a noob would be an understatement...
Also switched to mapster a while back and have been happy with it.
