    Default RAF aggro problems

    Hey guys,

I have another question regarding RAF dual boxing. Currently I am using my hunter as my dps and Druid as healer, but the Druid often aggros in caster form and quickly takes damage. How do I prevent the Druid from getting agro? Also, the Druid is on follow so when I move on the hunter any heals are cancelled on the Druid? How do I prevent this from happening? As a hunter I need to move to dps and this is throwing off the heals

1st: try a tanking pet, like a bear or boar etc, 2nd make sure growl is turned on. 3rd: Drive with the druid this way when you stop you can heal, the hunter is ranged so this should work nicely.

Driving with the Druid would mean that I need to tab over to the hunter to do dps correct?

If you're not using anything to broadcast keys to that window, yes.

You might want to check out something that will broadcast keys and make things much easier, such as keyclone, HKN, etc

I do have keyclone, however if my Druid is driving that would mean that I would have to dps with my hunter entirely from the Druids POV

Yeah, just set your macros up and you should be good.

Hunters are really easy to set up one button DPS macros... so if your hunter is following the druid and the pet is tanking, you can do some dps with the druid and heal when needed. I would go Boomkin on the druid imo..

Question why did you name this RAF?

Also, make sure Cower is off. I haven't played my Hunter for a few months but there was a bug where Cower kept reactivating even if you turned it off. With Growl on and Cower off pet aggro is usually quite good and you shouldn't be losing aggro to a healer on normal mobs.

If your pet is trying to tank multiple mobs, be careful to get pet aggro on all mobs before you heal. Thunderstomp is great for this but if you don't have that talent then you need to manually switch targets to get some aggro on each mob you are are tanking.

On my hunter I found that if Cower is not on your petbar (ie it's just in the spellbook), it keeps getting turned on to autocast at random. So I always keep cower on my petbar, even though I never ever use it. Hunter abilities that can have autocast turned on, seem to have a tendency to get it turned on at random when they're not on your petbar. So if your pets have prowl and you're sick of prowl getting auto-turned on, you'll have to drag that out to your petbar too.

It sucks that blizz can't fix this, but it ends up that most of your petbar ends up being occupied by abilities you DO NOT want the pet to use, just to keep it from becoming autocast.
