I think blaming curse client is spreading FUD. Have you considered maybe your login/password was easy to guess and your problem is unrelated to your machine ?

(was 8 Boxing Wow with HotKeyNet and ISBoxer)

Even if you change your pw and such. Did you fix your email? If they hacked your wow accounts I'm sure they hacked your email also.

Always change your email when your account has been hacked.
If you did that then I would suggest a cleaning of the computer. Better safe then sorry now.
I had a friend who has been hacked 6 times since wow was released. He finally changed his email information and has not had a problem since. He even cleaned his hardware system after each hack and that did not stop them. This last time they revived his account with a game card and blizzard wasn't going to do anything about it since the dude paid to reactivate.
Now that he changed his email with a clean system he hasn't had another problem.

Also adaware/spybot etc only truely work if you buy the programs and don't use the free service.

I went through this earlier this month. Only my main account was compromised though. Before I even got my account back though I had an authenticator in my hands. No issues since.

My solution is this. Most multiboxers have more than one box. Pick a box you don't game on as your internet box. I have 5 computers. 3 of them I use to play wow on. I browse the net and do all the pr0n on a separate box.

Until you positively identify the vector, EVERYBODY is suspect. Calling out valid possibilities isn't spreading FUD. Especially when said suspect has spread trojans in the past.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

I haven't been infected in years.

I was a desktop tech for years and have cleaned 100's if not thousands of infected PC's of some of the most vile viruses known to man, and because of this I do everything I can to ensure I don't get infected. As simple as it is to get a virus, it's just as simple NOT to. It's like having unprotected sex with a heavily infected partner. One who you know who is 100% infected with something that will make your genitals fall off. If that were the case you wouldn't have unprotected sex with them would you?

Nor would you go swimming in the dirtiest river in the world either.

That last one wasn't a question.

The day where hackers simply want to destroy your files and mess up your computer are forever gone. Today virus are built to steal something; your money or your identity, sometimes both. We need to be constantly vigilant in making sure our computers are as safe as they can possibly be. Computers are our work, hobby, and a source of entertainment. It baffles me why we don't take keeping them safe seriously.

I haven't been infected in years, and there are a lot of people on these boards who haven't been either. We're not special; we just make sure our shit stays our shit, and doesn't end up as somebody else's shit.
