Im not gonna lie and say theese teams are easy with that amount of belfs, but a paladin with aura mastery would rock that team. 3 meele teams with 2 healers certainly is one of the harderst teams to counter and i bless my luck since there getting fewer and fewer. However you cant change healer for each setup you face and overall i feel priests is way better then paladins atm. HoP is plain useless vs teams with priests or shamans, even worse is both. Priests tend to mass dispell my paladin and forcing him into a cyclone/fear rotation..Originally Posted by 'Void',index.php?page=Thread&postID=203683#post203 683
My suggestion is to drop the ret paladin and then the rogue.. If you force the ret paladin to bubble with 4x flameshocks you already reduced his damage with 50% for 10 seconds and you just have to switch targets. Killing the warrior will not remove MS and neither will killing the rogue, this means that the dps with highest dps have to go first wich is the ret paladin in my opinion. Get a kill and interrupt the enemy dps with rotating thunderstorm, its only 2 seconds but it realy realy give your healer time to breath. When one of my shamans thunderstorm the 3 other drops stoneclaw totem(for the shield) grounding totem and tremor totem. I also included fire resistance totem and frost resistance totem in my totem spam macro wich does wonders vs caster teams. Keep grinding thoose bgs for better gear and pratice arena!! If you got money, max out proffesions for bonuses like leather working alone gives me 40 more stamina while mining gives me 500 more hp aka my main is about to pass 23k hp unbuffed.
Once you start getting deadly/furiouse gear you start to laugh when warriors bladestorm you.. Unless they outgear you by far, and remember once they start spinning they cant spell reflect!
9/10 times i drop ret paladins instant when i hit my super button! :P With the shock glyph he got 0.5 seconds before the lava burst hits him aka its impossible to avoid unless hes unber lucky (reduce global cooldown on shocks to 0.5 seconds)
The key certainly to use focus on my burst macro, i set a focus target before the match.
/target [target=focus]
/use 13
/cast elemental mastery
/cast blood fury
/castsequence reset=10 flame shock, lava burst, chain lightning, flame shock (yes you have to wait for the last flame shock)
/targetlasttarget
With this macro i never have to switch target, i simply dps a hunter then jump and hit this one blowing down a ret paladin without the enemy team beeing able to predict it. Also my target remains the same but the one who is focused ususaly turns grey on Gladius.
Ret paladins, rogues and dks are actually pretty easy kills if you catch them off guard since most use a fair amount of pve gear and lack resillience. They are not immortal just because they have clos, bubble, ice block and they do make mistakes for sure.
My main problem have been 4 meele teams + healer, if you drop one they still keep up with theyr insane dps. What i figured out was to kill the enemy healer and just aoe the rest of them down with thunderstorm, fire nova totems, magma totems and chain lightning. Only got to tested it once but it realy realy worked out for me!
Ive missed talking about enemy setups alot and even if this theorycrafting might just be BS its still fun!![]()
