    Default Questions on using RAF on 5 accounts

    I have 5 RAF accounts daisy chained.

    So acc1->acc2->acc3->acc4->acc5

    My questions:
    1. Assuming I have 5 x level 59 chars - how can I use these to grant 29 levels to 5 x level 30 chars? (I can't seem to think of a way to do this with an odd number of accounts)
    2. I presume the last level you can grant levels is 59 and once you ding 60 you lose that ability even if you haven't used it yet?
    3. What is the highest number of levels you can grant another char - I presume 29?

    You can always handle level them to 10 than grant

    Hi,

    Not sure I understand your reply, but I think you are suggesting I level them to 10 and then grant. If this is what you meant then I agree it is a good idea BUT my question is not about what level to grant levels but HOW can 5 higher level chars on daisy chained accounts grant levels to 5 lower level characters.

    I am looking for an answer along the lines of acc1 grants levels to acc2, acc2 grants levels to acc1 etc etc. I just cant see how this would work with an odd number of accounts.

    You can grant levels at any level as long as you are higher, you don't lose them after you go above 60. The last level you can grant is level 60, but you get a full level of XP when you grant, so if you do it at 59.9999999 then go explore one area you will be 61.

    What will happen in your grant chain is that your last account (the one that didn't refer anybody) will never have grants to receive, however what you can do is level up the 5, then grant down to 4 vet accounts. Granted levels also give more granted levels- this means that if you level the first set to 60 you can then level up another set to 31, grant your 29 to them... you will then have 4 60s with 29 more levels to grant... grant down to the 3 vets linked to those 60s, etc. It's not the holy grail of easy 60s, but it's marginally better than leveling them up and a good option if you aren't looking to make class 5 packs (you could still level 5 packs to 31 while doing this, it's just the ones on the end won't have a 60 with grants to get the lower chained ones up to 60).

    There is no limit on total levels you can be granted (although a single character can only grant 29 levels)

    I thought i read they changed the grant levels, so that when leveling from 1-60 with RAF you will earn 30 now instead of an odd 29. I guess i could be wrong though.

    so the graph i think you are looking for is:

    A = Account and T = Toon and L = level and G = earned Grant levels

    A1--RAF--> A2 --RAF--> A3 --RAF--> A4 --RAF--> A5

    So first you have to level the first set to 60

    A1/T1/L60 and A2/T1/L60/G29 and A3/T1/L60/G29 and A4/T1/L60/G29 and A5/T1/L60/G29

    then you level the next set to 31 (much easier then to 60, should be able to do this in one day)

    A1/T2/L31 and A2/T2/L31/G15 and A3/T2/L31/G15 and A4/T2/L31/G15 and A5/T2/L15/G15

    Remember while granting to keep all toons within 4 level of each other to earn grant levels. Also, the granter, the grantee and the grantee's RAF need to be in party

    A5/T1 ---Grants--->A4/T2/L60/G29

    A4/T1 ---Grants--->A3/T2/L60/G29

    A3/T1 ---Grants--->A2/T2/L60/G29

    A2/T1 ---Grants--->A1/T2/L60

    So now you have one 60, one 31 on Account 5 and two 60s on all others.

    Again, level a group to 31 and then:

    A4/T2 ---Grants--->A3/T3/L60/G29

    A3/T2 ---Grants--->A2/T3/L60/G29

    A2/T2 ---Grants--->A1/T3/L60

    So now

    A5 has one 60, two 31's

    A4 has two 60's, one 31

    All others have three 60's

    Again level another group to 31 then grant:

    A3/T3 ---Grants--->A2/T4/L60/G29

    A2/T3 ---Grants--->A1/T4/L60

    Now you should have:

    A5 has one 60, three 31's

    A4 has two 60's, two 31's

    A3 has three 60's, one 31

    All others have four 60's

    Now level another group to 31 and grant:

    A2/T4 ---Grants--->A1/T5/L60

    You should now have:

    A5 has one 60, four 31's

    A4 has two 60's, three 31's

    A3 has three 60's, two 31's

    A2 has four 60's, one 31

    A1 has 5 60's, no 31's

    You have all these toons only leveling to 60 once.

    You could level another group from 0-60 and transfer one of the level 31s from A5 onto A1 and then grant another 4 to 60 and then start repeating until you get the number of toons you want.

    All said and done i still think boosting is better. You can level 4 toons via instance grinding to level 60 in 1 day (depending how skilled you are, you have a booster, you don't waist time)
