Question about a group make up

This is the first time that i'm getting serious about a 3 man set up. usually i dual box and its usually one of my toons and one of my wife's toons that are on the same page for level/quest; lately it's been a Priest/Mage. But now that I have my 3rd official account I'm trying to get into 3 boxing lol just because it brings a whole new level of fun for me. But anyways here are the make up's that I was thinking and please let me know what you think and suggestions for a first timer.

Groups thought up:
1. Paladin (tank), Priest (Disapline or shadow), Shaman (Resto)
2. Paladin (Tank) Priest (Holy), Mage (More then likely Frost spec for mana conservation)


I'm just trying to come up with something that I mingle into my friend's soon to be raiding guild and help him out so I'm not trying to do a 3 same caster class group. Thanks ahead of time.

The second comp you have there pally,priest,mage will probly run really smoothly.

that's actually the one i'm attempting to do lol. i'm just glad that its not that hard to do just yet until I start instance grinds and have to macro in the heals to the tank and or mage lol. just need to remember to have to hit the spread hot key to stop follow for the mage/priest lol. I found myself not doing that last night when i finally got everything set up lol and that took over an hour cause I'm really picky about my UI setups lol, and had to make sure all of them had the same addon's and everything placed the same just for PiP and making it easier on me to know where certain things are incase of screen swap lol

Your first team is also viable but I would probably make it more along the lines of Paladin, Disc Priest, elemental shaman.

thanks for the suggestion maybe when i decide to start another team on another server i'll probably going with that one lol. or maybe same server just different accounts lol
