Thread: And EQ2

    Default And EQ2

Last time I boxed was well over a year ago. Debating firing it up again. keyclone required a program called innerspace to run. Has this changed with the new updates? I've heard innerspace is bannable now, hated paying for it too

InnerSpace is not bannable. Using automated scripts is what is bannable. ISBoxer legality with EQ2?

I don't believe Keyclone has been updated to work with EQ2 by itself yet. Still looking to the day I see that in the update notes.

Btw.: if you want to use a free software you might want to try HKN for this.

Hotkeynet is awesome, I used that program in DAoC. Unfortunately it doesn't work correctly with EQ2. From my understanding, it does not allow you to broadcasting to background clients? If true, then it is useless to me. I 6 box with only 2 computers, so sending to background clients is an absolute must for me.

Nothing allows you to broadcast to clients which are not monitoring the Message Queue while in the background.

Innerspace works because it places a layer between the program being loaded and the I/O Message Queue. It intercepts all communication between these 2 points and does with it what you program it to.

Its a little more in depth as to what exactly goes on, but suffice it to say that Innerspace can force applications to think they are the "Active" window and creates a separate Message Queue for each instance.

NOTE: Also, with Innerspace, no additional boxing software is necessary. You need Innerspace and the addon called ISBoxer.
