Well at your age the jobs available to you are probably not gonna be able to pay for it. First you need a decent computer, big processor with about 8 gigs of ram, big power supply for it, this will run you about 1000 for a decent one. Than for the wow accounts you need 5x wow,bc,lich king, than its 75$ per month for the subscription.

howdy Blackrose and welcome to the forums!

costs? that depends on your hardware and your expectations. if you have a dual-core and want to 3 box (or less), you should not need any new hardware. quad cores are good for 5-boxing, but you can 5-box on a dual-core... but with lower fps. your graphics card, OS, and system memory will impact here... more info is required.

if you already have one wow account now, you'll need to get a new one for each character you want to run. get 1x wow battlechest for each new account. (and extra for wotlk once you bump against 70)

only piece of the puzzle left is your boxing software. some are free, others have a one-time fee.

    your costs:
$25-40 * (number of wows) wowcraft battle chest
$15 * (number of wows) monthly fee
    $0-19.99 multiboxing software (**cough** keyclone)

they usually have memorial day sales... watch the papers.

as for making $$ to pay for your new habit... being 15 shouldn't get in the way. i use to mow lawns on the weekends during the summer... good for $20/lawn these days i'm sure. one lawn a week would cover it... but i'd get as many lawn gigs as you can find, to get some new hardware. there is also the summertime job... subway or whatever local businesses you have (have you had a job yet? if not, i can give you tips to get one)... stock up on game cards during the summer and your wows will be paid for a year. you'd only need 6 per wow to cover a year.

if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a PM anytime.

good luck and welcome to the addiction!

Shenanigans!!!!! I ran WoW (5 box) on 3 really crappy computers. :P
There are links in the wiki, and software sections for software you can use.
BUT, if you aren't familiar with programming, you really might want to consider the $20 for Keyclone.
Plus, for the $20 you can nag him all you want!!! <hides>

You might want to post your current PC specs, and we can give you a better idea of what you can/can't do with it.
single/dual/quad core? How much RAM installed? Video card?

I was able to run 3 sessions of WoW on a Dual core laptop with a crappy video card and 2 gigs of RAM, for example.

I have to say it will NOT cost you 1000 bucks to run wow.

It did NOT cost me anywhere near that much to run it off my basic computer and I run 5 wow's on one pc. And I only have 4 gigs on XP which only see's 3.4 of those.
And yes at 15 with good grades you can get enough money to afford to run the wow's for a year. As long as you have no other fee's to pay.
I'm going to take a guess by the name and picture you are female.. Take on babysitting. Subway MIGHT take you on. But it depends on your state. Here I would not of been able to hire you do to the utensils that we used. But that is my states laws.

Your best bet to see what your computer can handle is sending yourself trial account offers. Load them adding one at a time. When you notice things are to laggy or notice your computer bogs down. Then you know your computer's limit.

And yes get keyclone. It is IMO the easiest and best software to use.

When you want to start multy-boxing. Raf 2 accounts (imo 2 chars tottal is not a boxing experiance, 3 or more you really start to FELL THE POWER!>) Anyways, raf two accounts, and create them, make the account names simmiler or you forget >.< Also when you RAF, Put the name of the person your RAF'ing as the name of the account, Exe: Trevordillen raf'ed trevordillen2 and trevordillen3, Easy to keep track of You might need this down the road when your trying to figure out who's linked to who. Trust me you want RAF. Also, When you RAF you get 10 days and up to level 20. (Make sure your main account is fully active, or things get tricky, IE: Unable to invite people to groups) During this time you get to learn what boxing is like. Make some chars, watch some vids on how to set up your software program (Get keyclone, and get it lagit, its only 20$ and its way worth it, im only 16, and I just asked my mom for the lone when I wanted to start out, but it really the only option) Then use the wiki to figure out how everything in keyclone works, theirs tuns of guides out there, Most of them well worth it. Once you figure it out its SOOOO easy. Dont let it be daunting at first. Try some different classes. IMO shams are the only way to go for the first time boxer, but everyone loves what they play. If you box, you will enjoy what ever class you play, I promiss. But try out a few. Try some mixed groups. You wont get to really know what its like untill you go out and upgrade to full accounts, but you will get a taste. Then, once you have decided that you like it (Yes once, not if) Go out and get 2x battle chest. I want to say its 82.61 with tax at Best Buy, However you can find them a few dollars cheeper online (If you trust it, But I have a wow box shrine thing going on, so heh, do what ya trust there) Dont worry about prof's and such right off, its to painfull, just get to outlands and get some good gear. You will blow stuff up and love it, and then you will get to pvp, (3 level 61 shams is what I first had, and blew up a 71 hunter ) You will really get to know your chariters here. I suggest useing a high level char on a different account to boost yourself to 60, if you have already done the leveling grinds many-a-time like I have. Its just not worth the time (14 hours vs 1 day 5 hours) Play around, see what you like, and after your free month is up, you will have made enough money to buy more game cards, Because remember, once you buy thos battle chests, you get 40 days free, and when you buy account time on both of them, your main account gets 2 months free. + every team you get to 60, you get a free 60 on your main account. Watch out though, thats how I got into 4 boxing shams . Sorry for the wall of text, but I hope this helps.

I'm not sure how this equates to getting money?
All I got was a "whoopin" if I didn't get good grades.

I'll give you $15 to research the difference between "duel" and "dual", and the correct spelling of "econimy". Not to mention the true affects of a Bear Market in today's society, and how it affects illiterate job-seeking teenagers such as yourself.

    Good luck though!
