Take the monitor off the stand and mount it to a VESA standard Monitor mount. These mounts come in many flavors and most can support both Portrait and Landscape orientations.

There are many of these. I have my monitors mounted in Portrait mode and mounted directly to my Desk Hutch. Comfy place to play on a rainy day <team 2 at 68> This was done with a very simple mount --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882021074
