What char is best for boosting?

I'm currently non-RAF dual-boxing a prot pally and holy priest duo. My plan is/was to use the prot pally (on my main account) to RAF instance boost two pairs of 60's on my 2nd account and a new RAF'ed 3rd account up to 60, then grant 59 levels to a 5th toon on my 2nd account.


I could start RAF instance boosting now, I do have an 80 hunter that could probably do the boosting but I'm just wondering about the viability and speed of using an 80 hunter to turbo-boost two lowbies in the higher end instances like BRD and Strat. My only real AOE is explosive trap and Volley. I'm dual-specced, primary is SV but my 2nd spec is MM which has the talent to give 100% immunity to interruptions to the volley channeling from damage, so I'd use the MM spec to boost so I could round everything up then volley on top of myself til they're all dead (hopefully before I run OOM so I don't have to go AotV and then be volleying at half-damage).

I have personally found combat rogue to be the best for boosting from 10-65 or there abouts. From 10-60 everything will die within seconds to fan of knives, and once u hit tbc, you'll just have ur lowbies do some healing on ur rogue while he destroys everything in ramps/slave pens.

I did try prot pali but that wasn't nearly as efficient as the rogue. When fan of knives was changed from a cd to energy based, that changed everything.

So i guess my question now is, how efficient would a level 60 DK be for boosting to.. lets say level 50?
