The intent was fine, even appreciated, but the subject matter was that which should not be discussed here. Everything else aside, THIS is why it was removed, not because any mod has ill-will towards the dev, or any other reason people thought. This is not the conspiracy you're looking for.Everyone involved seems to have come to the same agreement and we should probably let this thread die off.

Once more for the record: I hate removing content, but I refuse to allow content from someone who has such a terrible reputation with other mods / site owner. The people you see here that are allowed to advertise their products support the community, they're here for US, and not to just raid our wallets. Not everyone has to agree, not everyone has to get along, but if you're going to be apart of this community you will at least, the VERY least, respect the community.

For someone who doesn't really know the full in-depth story of PwnBoxer (i.e. ME), this whole thing seems a little ridiculous; from both sides. Lets all not take ourselves so seriously; hug your kids, call your mom, make love to your wife and have a steaming hot cup of perspective. You'll live longer

there is a history with that author, and it started before dual-boxing.com. db is just his latest target (disrupting/usurping/stealing/selling community websites is his game)

I respect that DB.com has a policy against them, even tho I cannot totally agree with it due the fact that I had no bad history with the creator of this software.

Therefore it kinda pissed me off how the topics on this application were instantly nuked while I was interested in looking into it (even tho the name is terrible). It got me in a bad moment, bad mood so to say. I flamed a bit, bad idea, sorry for it.

On the other hand. It`s nice that he made a tutorial movie for it. Newcomers should have a chance to check all out before buying one piece of software. In this case it doesn`t go over db.com. People can choose to check the other movies by subscribing to his youtube account and checking all the movies there.

The application itself had some nice functionality but nothing that keyclone or HKN doesn`t have. Those have even more functionality.

This is how I feel about it. I might not agree with the total ban of the application but I respect the choices made by the mods now.

That's not half-cocked, that's working out a deal with Tim/Evilseed to market his software.

You can't see that when the video is titled:

and the link he provides in the video description is:

That means that he had to setup that affiliation with Tim/Evilseed.

I don't see Keyclone giving him a discount.

What better way to "SEEM" impartial than to show all the options, but in reality, you favor one by offering a discount for one specific one.

He obviously gets a kickback. If you can't see that, I'm not sure what other information I can provide you.

Take this analogy:

You're a used car salesman. You carry Ford and Chevy.

You run an add one week for Chevy, then you run the next with Ford. However, with the Ford purchase, you get a free 2 year warranty with your car. In order to get that discount, you need to mention the ad.

Sure, you sell both cars, but you obviously are in bed with only one of them.

No mather the history with the person behind the application you cannot flame him for asking money for his product. A program like Keyclone costs money as well. (and yes I know that it`s one time, good support) And I don`t mean people cannot ask a little funding to keep them motivated to keep updating/supporting/website costs. But I don`t think you can just flame him for asking money for the product. Maybe the reason behind it are debatable I don`t know but both ask money for they`re software and that fact stays the same.

So I`m sticking to HKN :thumbsup: and yes I`m willing to start paying for it if needed since it`s a quality piece of software.

The history behind it and the intentions are everything. I personally think integrity is everything and when someone comes out saying "I'm just doing this to help out others" when clearly he's getting some kickback for advertising

Negativ can.
Negativ obviously is in bed with Tim.
Therefore, Tim is marketing his products to a forum that he's currently banned from.
