Your keymaps are not showing up under your actual individual characters, even though it's showing up under Team Frost. Maybe try dragging the 'first' set of keymaps up to them. You've also got 2 Fireballs, 2 Frost Bolts, and 2 Fire Blasts under your keymaps bound to the same keys....and Arcane Intellect is spelled incorrect. Kinda confusing to see everything named 'Fireball' as well. ?( I've also never made layouts w/o using Action Target Groups. May want to get rid of your dupe keymaps [and correct any spelling errors] and then move that keymap up to your individual characters and see if that fixes anything.
Do not send me a PM if what you want to talk about isn't absolutely private.

The key map does not need to be assigned to both the set and the individual characters. Assigning the set is the same as assigning all of the individual characters in it.
The duplicate Mapped Keys can be gotten rid of as Fenril suggests.
But, neither of these is the reason they aren't working. Here's a suggestion that might solve your issue:
- Remove the second copy of fireball, frostbolt, and fireblast
- Either add a new WoW Macro Action to the list of Actions in each one, for the other character, or
- Add an Action Target Group called Mages (for example), put your mages in it, then for the Target, select Group:Mages
- The Key Combination you set for a Keystroke or WoW Macro Action does not need to match the Hotkey you press to execute the Mapped Key and thus there is a separate setting for it.
And in fact, if you are using keys like 1,2,3,etc and you have an action bar addon (e.g. Bartender, etc), those addons like to override the key bindings created by the ISBoxer addon. Change your WoW Macro Action key combinations to something more obscure, for example Alt+Num 1, Ctrl+Alt+Num 1, Ctrl+[, Alt+], and so on. Things you never hit, and don't want to remember (because you hit the Hotkey to execute the ISBoxer mapping, NOT the key combination to execute the WoW Macro).
I imagine you have an action bar addon and that's the reason they aren't working.
A few other things you need to be sure of:
- Make sure that the ISBoxer Addon is not disabled. This is in the Addons window from Character Select
- Make sure when you log in, you see a few ISBoxer Addon lines in the WoW chat window. It will say which Character it thinks it is. If characters are in a different order in your Character Set slots than you log in with, it's not going to have the right macros on the right characters
Thanks for the response. Yeah i found my mistake last night, problem was that i disabled the addon (didnt knew there is 1 at first place). I just didnt make sense why the keystrokes work in my login screen when i enter my user and pass and not in game.
And ill work on my macros and see what i can do there, thanks for the advice
about the keymaps..is this whet you guys had in mind?
[im little new with complex macros:P]
I would probably drop your Focus mapped key and use the options in your Character Set to do it automatically. If you did that because it didnt work with the Character Set options, it's probably going to work now that the addon is enabled
If you're using the auto-generation, the Hot Character will always Focus on himself. That means your macros that are split into 2 actions can be 1 action to All, instead of using a different one for the current Character, because [target=focustarget] will have no effect when you ARE the focus target.
You seem to be on the right track, though.
p.s. Manually doing this:
Is the same as just puttingCode:/castsequence [target=focustarget] reset=15/combat Frostbolt, Fireball, Fire Blast
And checking "But First", "Assist Hot Character", and "Restore target afterward". If you use the targeting options provided, you can seamlessly switch to and from FTL at a later time if you so desire. Simply enabling FTL would automatically fill in the FTL conditionals for you, as opposed to using target=focustarget.Code:/castsequence reset=15/combat Frostbolt, Fireball, Fire Blast
The reason i did that is because i run the char.s on full screen on both monitors and switch between them often. so i have a quick button to change the follow/focus, i even use it after i channel arcane missiles.
about the code.
i tried to make it simple for both char.s to be like
/cast [target=focustarget] [] Fireball...blah blah
but it didnt work. my main wasnt casting
so i split them into 2 actons
Also i have a question about the keymaps again
i wanned to setup keys with macros that are close to W,S,A,D but didnt work cuz i couldnt put my user/pass info...is there anyway i can fix that problem?
What you're missing is that focus switching is a feature built into the software. Your main probably wasn't casting because you werent setting the focus on the main window.
Add a separate Key Map, and in that Key Map create a Mapped Key. This Mapped Key will toggle your other Key Map. Create 1 step, and in that step, add a Key Map State Action, to toggle your other Key Map.Also i have a question about the keymaps again
