Steps to complete this quest easily and quickly:

  1. Grab guts and create abomination.
  2. Pet on passive.
  3. Run through a side corner of the mob spawn.
  4. Fart every time it's up to keep the mobs slowed and aggro'd on the abomination.
  5. Get back near edge of the spawn with 10-15 mobs on the abomination.
  6. Put pet on STAY and keep running.
  7. Give yourself 15 yards or so to get out of explode range.
  8. Click explode.
  9. ....
  10. Profit!!!
