Also, when you get the ini files working, you can lower the settings of the slave/follower accounts and that will help your FPS too.



BUT, I'm not sure you want to remove the max and min FPS limiters.. I run my follower accounts at max 20 min 12-ish.. makes the main window have better FPS. :thumbup:

Thank you for this. I've had Virtual Files set up incorrectly since I started, and didn't bother asking, instead put up with having to retype in all account names on launch.

I haven't tried what you said yet, but upon reading the explanation, I realize where I went wrong.

I tried this when I got home and it still doesn't work :/

It loads up all my EQ2 instance with the same account name, but when I look at each of the Virtual Files created for each instance (EQ2_Recent_A.ini, EQ2_Recent_B.ini, etc) it has the correct account name in each of the virtual files.

I have a feeling IS is only loading up 1 Virtual File for all instances. I know it is not using the original file, "EQ2_RECENT.ini" as the account name in that file is completely different.

I'll mess with it some more later I suppose It's starting to bug me that I can't get it to work the way it is designed.

You only created 1 eq2_recent.ini under Virtual Files and re-used that for each Toon right?

Now that I think about it..I'm not sure you can re-create the same file that way anyway... just a thought.

I'm having issues with this as well. Ill keep toying with it. Also, I have an issue that when i swap windows by clicking on that window, the new active window toon is spinning around until i re click the new active window. Any idea on why that is?

So are you saying create an eq2_recent.ini for each character? Right now I have it setup as one eq2_recent.ini and then underneath that both of my healers. Each healer has an .ini they point to, named something like eq2_recent_char1.ini and eq2_recent_char2.ini and yet I still have to type in the username for each account. If I look at the afore mentioned .ini's they have the proper username in them.
