Only about a grand. Not me but it could be......... might give a small edge in arenas. Until teams learned to adapt.

The costume is a non equipped item with a 6 second cast time. The item itself has no cooldown, but it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown, and the effect is broken when you cast a spell, attack, eat food, or take damage.

apparently as of 2.3 has nearly all unique emotes, but breaks on mounting as well.

i have one for all my toons looks very good, normally main doesnt have hers activated so it looks like 4 giant furbies are chaiseing her.

theres a few other types of items that turn you into other things for a horde option, like one that turns you into an orc another turns you into a bird thing totally forgot what they were called in the outlands >.<

They changed the dartols rod, you used to be able to run/jump and also activate it, now a days you need to be standing at a complete stop. Time wel spend, for a blizz employee I guess.
