In another thread Crucial suggested the idea of sharing ISBoxer profiles so we can all try to see new ideas and learn to better our own configs, so I decided to cut out this huge wall of text I was adding over there and make it into it's own thread:
I run a DK, 3 Spriests, and a Pally healer with dual 1680x1050 monitors for the screen layouts. Here's the ISBoxer config:
http://www.ggxtech.net/aboron_main_wow.zip
I use Ctrl+T to toggle key repeating and Ctrl+U to toggle mouse repeating - I usually run with them both off after i get past the login screen.
All the keymaps work for the way I play, mainly use 2 for my start/pull then rotate/spam 3,4,5 to use all the dk's different kinds of runes - the dps just repeats the same dps macro on all 3 and the healer does a sparse flash heal in there too. Although i have no shaman, 4 of my team are still rezzers, so my rez macro may be handy for reference - if only one team member is dead i usually end up with 2 rezzers on him on the first hit, but only one of them will take the mana hit in the end.
Details of all my main keys 1-9,0,-,=
- 1 ) This is my buffs key - it just runs the ZOMGBuffs click action
- 2 ) This is my combat start. It does simultaneous castsequences on all with the tank getting in the first 2 shots (icy touch, death and decay) before anyone else lands anything.
- 3 ) Standard DPS plus Blood rune abilities. The priests do their main thing here. The pally does a /castsequence flash heal,,, . The tank does a castrandom on the things that use blood runes and aren't targetted.
- 4 ) DPS and Healer just point this to button 3. Tank uses castrandom frost rune abilities.
- 5 ) DPS and healer just point to 3 again. Tank uses unholy runes.
- Ctrl-5 ) Everyone shift the DPS into high gear and blow their trinkets and cooldowns.
- 6 ) Tanks does a grip on the target
- Ctrl/Alt+6 ) Preists do MC or shackle if they have a focus target.
- 7 ) Fast tank heal. Tank does Rune Tap, Healer does his cooldowns and a castsqeunce starting with holy shock
- 8 ) Tank's "Oh crap" button. Pally does the same as above. Tank does Icebound Fortitude.
- Ctrl+8 ) Tank does anti-magic zone. Priests all PW: S themselves.
- 9 ) Healer does Holy Light
- 0 ) Priests all do holy nova
- ctrl+0 ) priests do holy nova, healer does holy wrath
- alt+0 ) healer does consecrate
- - ) all mana users drink, tank eats - uses /click to AutoBar's water and food buttons
- = ) all rez sequence - will eventually get everyone back up again, as long as one healer is living
I have 2 different targeting keymaps in there, my old focus-based one, and my current "semi-FTL" one it uses the FTL-style macro modifiers to determine the hot character, but it leaves the target selected on the followers so they can continue to go off with dps if my tank need to switch targets and grip some casters into the aoe or start building agro on the next target early. And this leaves focus free to be assigned for CC (priest MC or shackle in this case). I'm very fond of the FTL leader changing ability for use doing pick-up collection quests, since i can swap the driver one at a time until they are all done without needing to switch back for combat.
I also load these clickboxer overlays when I do instances, they are overkill for regular running and questing:
http://www.ggxtech.net/clickboxer_mods.zip
They link in to the buttons in "5manClickboxerFunctions" keymap in the ISBoxer setup to give me buttons to cast flash heals on each member, plus some round-robin tank shields from the priests, CC assignments with lucky charms and other little helpful things.
They all get unzipped into the interface directory under the Innerspace root, and can be loaded (just on the main window in this case) by pulling down an IS console with ` (default) and typing these commands:
I actually have those commands in a little script i can run when needed which also applies the "WoWSkin" theme to them, but that's not really needed to make them work.Code:ui -load ClickerA ui -load ClickerB ui -load ClickerE ui -load Deaditte ui -load Abahron
