Default Focus window on mouse over?

    Hi,

perhaps some of you know the problem... you are running 3 or 5 WoW-Windows on one machine, and if you want to do something in another window (perhaps cancleing quests or so) you have to click into the window, and then you only now can use the buttons in the interface.

So is there a program out, that activates or simulates a mouseclick an the wow-window, where the mouse is over?

I hope you can unterstand my "perfect" english :P

    Thank you very much,

Hi wulfos and welcome to the forums,

yes... keyclone can do exactly what you are looking for.

you have to enable it... 'setup/general/focus follows mouse'

when enabled, if you push you mouse over another window, it will be activated and you would be able to interact without having to click first.

    Hi Taipan,

i included 'focus follows mouse' in v1.7s. just download and install the new version.

once you get a keyclone license, you get all future updates for free. so update whenever you like. i just ask that people help spread the good word in return.

    a note:
if you used keyclone's maximizer in v1.7r, it has radically changed in v1.7s to allow for exact control over the regions. i'm not 100% happy with how it lays out the regions yet... but i'm working on it. if you want to reverse to go back to v1.7r, check the downloads section on the keyclone page for older versions. also, all your settings are in the keyclone.ini file, so make a copy if you think you may want to downgrade.

    Keyclone,

Just got the update v1.7s and that follow mouse is really neat, especially for quest turn ins and as each alt is running a profession.

    Thanks,

    /salute

For those without Keyclone (get it :P) there is a utility that can be got from MS called TweakUI, you can then use an option in that to setup XMouse (something to do with Xorg I think) which mimics a mouse under linux or the thing mentioned above.
Currently running 3x City of Heroes under Octopus

When I picked up a new PC for my slaves a couple weeks ago I also upgraded from Windows XP to Vista.

I wasn't able to find a working TweakUI for Vista but it turned out Vista has this functionality somewhere under Accessability Options already.

Unlike on Windows XP, where the focus change is instant, Vista has a small delay before it changes focus (guesstimate 200ms).

Is the Keyclone focus change instant (on Vista)?
