    Default Hardware boxing Warhammer Online

I'm very interested in getting into hardware boxing Warhammer online. I'm trying to figure out how powerful of a computer I'll need for each character. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was looking at something like that, but that's still pretty f'ing expensive :/ What can I downgrade and still do fine with? Any help would be much appreciated

I think that is more than powerful enough. 3 GHz Core 2 Duo/ 4Gb / 9800 GT - I did find that Warhammer runs fine with less RAM and with older video cards, but the savings in overall system price might not be significant with current hardware choices.

What I would consider is what else do you want this computer to play? You're right investing in hardware like that to play War hammer online is expensive. No matter what you buy you might come up short in game due to the game's mechanics as it relates to multibox play style. My advice: make sure it runs your other games/future games well enough as your experience into Warhammer might be short-lived, resulting in buyer's remorse.

And for what it's worth for me 5boxing Warhammer felt way way too much like a Chinese fire drill.
WoW - Kil'Jaeden: Aerron (Paladin) Legion of Boom
Warhammer Online - Azazeal server, Erron 25 White Lion, 3x Bright Wizards
Age of Conan - Wiccana Server "Atmos" 6x Tempest of Set (Sacrafice to Set)
Vanguard - Xeth Server "Erron" Paladin, Cleric, 3xSorcerers (Followers of Erron)
Star Wars Galaxies - Bloodfin Server since 2004, Elder Jedi +4 Jedi apprentices

I had to look that up. Hilarious

edit: the specific origin of the term "Chinese Fire Drill" is funny to me, not the out-dated racial sterotypes discussed in that Wikipedia article.

Heh, not as common as expression as I thought.

The expression "Chinese Fire Drill" is the act of a group of individuals accomplishing nothing. The term is also used as a figure of speech to mean any large, ineffective, and chaotic exercise.

If you've played Wahammer's PvP scenarios enough, you'd come to appreciate that expression well.

The only thing on the horizon that I foresee myself multiboxing is KOTOR Online, which probably won't be live for another 2 years. Or more.

The problem is that even when you go almost to the minimum specs for Warhammer, you're only saving a hundred bucks or so. Shrug.
