    Default Speccing hunters for multiboxing.

I've never multiboxed my hunters and I haven't played them since pre 2.3.

I've got a hankering to start a team with a lot of my old horde characters and came up with

Prot pally or Prot warrior (probably go for the pally for ease of multiboxing).
Warlock - Demonology down to felguard, few points in destro etc.
    Hunter
    Hunter
    Resto shaman.

Looking for advice for what to spec the hunters.

Is there one spec that's easier to multibox, or should I spec one as survival for mana regen and the other as either marksmanship or beast mastery?

I wouldnt specc for mana regen since it would be just plain usless... yeah it is usefull when ti comes to solo grinding, but your having a whole crew for yourself so I think you should just make em all out DPS as hard as possible.

When I played, I did all of my hunters marks, 5 in survival for Imp Tracking and the rest in BM. Each had a slightly different spec since I ran 3.

    Raven
    Lisa
    Bomanz

I personally liked MM, good DPS, some nice stuff to play with. Still had the points for some nice stuff out of BM. And not too much to micro-manage...vital to me since my main was a holy pally and I needed to spend a lot of time micro-managing her.

However, it's been months since I played, so I don't know what kinds of changes have been put in place for the other trees.

BM for leveling, you will tear everything apart, and right now since the SV nerf bm, and survival are pretty close as far as end game dps goes so it would really be whichever you prefer playing.

Once you CAN get it, spec into the Replenishment stuff, it's HUGE. BM is kinda meh, I know our raiding hunters are running 0 / 14 / 57 for DPS, and 54 / 17 / 0 for solo grinding. With boxing, you really don't NEED BM, it's not as OP as it was in BC. It's good for solo play, but I wouldn't get caught up in the mold of "BM or your wrong".

Its not BM and your wrong. Its BM and you don't do ghost runs so much. Having 3x hunters on my team and currently having all three specced different (BM, SV, MM) - it leads to complicated macros to get it to 2-3 keys for dps mashing. All one spec is easy. DPS is similar for all. Pet aggro is way higher for Tenacity pets. Pet survivability and healability is high for BMs. Its BM and you roll easier & farther.

All hunter rock as MB - dual tank & DPS ftw.
