Default Epic x2 / x3 are super fun

This probably isn't anything special but leveling up now in the 60's I've been able to run into quite a few epic x2 and x3 in dungeons and whatnot, with me playing 4 and my RL best friend playing 2 we are able to drop every one we've gone up against. I just love that it takes everything we've got usually to drop them, our power is out at the end of the fight and it's really that fun rush feeling.

From what I heard x2 is suppose to be for 2 groups x3 is for 3 groups etc.. is this accurate?

I went up against an X3 with my same level group (non-dungeon) and had my butt handed to me. :P

That was when I started paying attention to the ^ ^ ^ stuff.

really? You're dropping x3s without a problem? x2s arent a problem for 1 group usually but x3s are fairly difficult with a single group.
what set up did you finally decide on?

I killed Meathook out in Sinking Sands, he was about 53/54 ish? I was 60~ so I had quite a few levels on him, also was against a full group of 6. I only play 4, my friend had the other 2 I just found the fight really exciting along with the other epic fights, they bring a really unique feeling to it.

    I'm running Guardian / Warden / Illusionist / Wizard

Thats pretty similar to what I am running. I am also splitting a 6 man group with another friend who plays 3 as well and together we have a 1 healer set up.
I'm running a grd, wiz, illu and my friend is running a rng, tmp, and a conj. Debating on dumping a char and picking up another healer if that would make x3 and x2 a bit easier.

Was that the one I killed? I can't remember it's name...

But I think I had at least 2 levels on it.

I really like that the epic fights feel "epic".

Yep, that windstalker thing. It may have only a x2 but it really didn't matter when he killed me without breaking a sweat.
