Default Multiplicity Pro on sale this weekend $13.99

I'm no longer an active multiboxer or WoW player, but when I used to box I shelled out the full $50 for multiplicity. I found it easy to configure and use; it solved a lot of lag problems that some of the other kbd/mouse sharing apps had for me.

Anyhow, you can get Multiplicity Pro for $13.99 this weekend through Stardock's Impulse service. http://www.impulsedriven.com/mpp

One warning to boxers who use Ventrilo - Multiplicty + Ventrilo = Broken Push To Talk

I've opened tickets with both sides on this and both point the finger at the other - after over 40 hours of trying to get support I gave up.

Same here, mine works fine. This program is a steal for $14 too. I love it.

Can I use this program for two PC's and only share the mouse and keyboard to run Everquest, but also have an n52 on each computer that runs seperately from multiplicity? Like, each n52's (probably gonna be 2 G13') keep working at all times for the computer they are hooked up to, but the mouse and keyboard works for both PC's depending where the cursor is?

I haven't used it in about a year, the problem was always consistant between two Win XP boxes, it would work for a while and then PTT would stop working. Restart vent and it's back functional every time. I tried using the keyboard for PTT as well as the mouse and no matter what config I ran, it just stopped after a random amount of time.

well, after finding this post figured... why not, I need a new one anyway.
I currently use keyclone and octopus.
Octopus, clunky for what I need does not work on macs (I have one for non-wow stuff) and will not work in conjunction with synergy.
Synergy, spins ya like a top in wow.

Well, I tried it, after figuring out that I actually need to install impulse on each machine and install multiplicity through that. :/
It works really well. Easy to set up, it says it has OS X support comming, which is great, and for now, it works seamlessly with synergy.

So I have it set up like this.

Slave Mp (XP No KB)<-> Master Mp (XP w/KB)<-> Slave Mp and Master Synergy (XP No KB)<-> Slave Synergy (OS X no KB)

This seems to work perfectly and to me, well worth the $15

I am currently running Synergy, but don't really take advantage of it much. I use my second mouse and keyboard when required.

However, if the crazy spinning wasn't there I might actually take advantage of it more. So, just to clarify. With Multiplicity, I would actually be able move my slave toons around with my main mouse instead of them going all "Tasmanian devil-like"??

Correct, it works really well. I can drive my other toons with no problem. With Synergy the mouse went nuts when trying to move in wow on the second screen.
