    Default 5 accounts question

I have 5 accounts. 4 are in my name, 5th one is in my friend's name. All 5 have my email and my address. Is there any chance that i will get banned on all 5 accounts? I have lots of 80's on my main account, i would not want to risk losing everything. Should i contact in game GM to see if they can provide any concrete answers on this issue?

    Hi

    another question:

I'm 5-boxing with 5 accounts on my name. So fare, everything is ok, but I'm also quadboxing together with my girlfriend (she have her own account on her name). The point is that we life togehter and so we use the same internet connection.

    Coud this be a problem?

I think it shoud not, becouse then every boxer in shared flats or something woud have a problem, but i'm just not sure about it.

They can tell who is multiboxing and who is not. When you're playing with her, she will not be in sync with your toons, will move on her own and so on. I played 4 and my husband played his account as our 5th for a long time, and I know we were reported a ton, especially in the beginning. As long as you're following the rules and not swapping one of hers for one of yours, you shouldn't have issues.

Yes. Blizzard will see this as account sharing and ban all of your accounts once it's discovered. This forum is littered with tales of accounts banned for doing exactly this sort of thing.

    Stick to four boxing.

but I'm also quadboxing together with my girlfriend (she have her own account on her name). The point is that we life togehter and so we use the same internet connection.
This will not be a problem so long as you really aren't multiboxing her characters.

My wife and I often multibox together - me on my accounts, her on her own accounts - and have never had a problem.

    edit: pre-coffee morning typos.

    Hi,

Ah, thats good to know. Thx for the answers.
I never play with her account. When i have started, i have thought about to play with her account, but i didn't do it, because i was not sure and dont't want to get my accounts banned

People here obviously haven't read the rules. As soon as some GM gets on and starts going "RAWR YOU BE USIN' SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT!" reply with a simple "Yeah, I bought it."

Perfectly legitimate. Buying and selling accounts is legal if all of the contents of the box are transferred to the new owner. Obviously, a new account cannot be made with the CD key so the account also becomes property of the new owner. It doesn't matter whose name the account is in, so long as you can prove you are in possession of the retail box and you pay your fees, there is nothing they can do.

The following is quoted from http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html

Ownership/Selling of the Account or Virtual Items.

Blizzard does not recognize the transfer of WoW Accounts or Blizzard Accounts (each an "Account"). You may not purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, or offer to purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, and any such attempt shall be null and void. Blizzard owns, has licensed, or otherwise has rights to all of the content that appears in the Game. You agree that you have no right or title in or to any such content, including without limitation the virtual goods or currency appearing or originating in the Game, or any other attributes associated with the Account or stored on the Service. Blizzard does not recognize any purported transfers of virtual property executed outside of the Game, or the purported sale, gift or trade in the "real world" of anything that appears or originates in the Game. Accordingly, you may not sell in-game items or currency for "real" money, or exchange those items or currency for value outside of the Game.
    You sir,
