Just curious if there was information released that suggests that. Assuming you are talking about full releases and not just content updates.Originally Posted by 'Gadzooks',index.php?page=Thread&postID=201045#pos t201045
By the original storyline they had set out for WoW (yes, this game has a pre-defined story with an "end"), they originally only slated up to level 90 in expansions, with the possibility of extending to level 100. That leaves us with really 1-2 full expansions before we hit the end of their set storyline. That's still 2-4 years worth of content left, by their information. That also supports the idea of a 5-6 year timeframe before we see their next MMO released.
Now, they could always decide to add additional storylines to WoW to reap the rewards of keeping that going, but I haven't seen anything else to suggest that they intend to do that or not yet. Additions after that may not be part of advancing the story any more, but exploring other aspects of the realm to delve further into history or origins of things, which seems possible given the playerbase's keen interest on exploring that type of stuff.
And, yeah, a Starcraft MMO has been all but ruled out by Blizz as a next possible game. Unless that's simply what they WANT us to think. Hmm...........
