Thread: Lag?

    Default Lag?

    Hello,

I've searched but didn't find anything about it. I'm using keyclone and my question is: Does it have some implicit lag when broadcasting in the same machine?

    The example:
Bind same key for strafe left to five clients.
Press key, main moves, ALL alts move at the same pace but with something like 5-8y distance behind.

Is it normal behavior? Any solution besides changing broadcasting methodology?

    Thank you.

I'm guessing what you see is the ingame lag. On your main screen you see your alts move later than your main. If you however look on one of your alts screen, you will see that that alt moves before all the rest, including your main.

This has got nothing to do with the broadcasting, it's ingame lag. If it's not the ingame lag you mean, then I'm guessing it's something software, but not keyclone related. I 3box on 1 pc, and have the other 2 boxes on a second pc, and they all react at the same time

Yeah this is probably from video lag. With your main being on high graphics. I noticed this many times as I have fallen to my death off the Aldor rise. Thinking my alts are too far away to catch the elevator, so I move my main to the edge. Only to have my alts go past my main onto the floor below. Like Funkstar said, if you look at your alts screens they are much better representation.
