    Default Question about Thaddius

    Hello,

Does anyone knows if after defeating both mini bosses you have to pull Thaddius or if it's activated by some timer?

If he's pulled that's ok since we have time to position, if it's auto, how do you have time to jump and position everyone?

    Thank you all in advance!
    Cheers

There is a (quite short, IIRC) timer.

    Thank you.
Anyone with ideas on how to position 7 guys before he's active (at least)?

    Cheers

If they're all on follow and you make sure you have spacebar set to broadcast to all clients, you *may* be able to make the jump with them all. Problem is the followers will be slightly behind you so their jumps won't be timed right...

For that you may want to actually stack then broadcast movement keys to all toons so they run together and jump together.

Good luck managing keeping them all on the correct sides of the boss each Polarity Shift...

I don't think follow + jump will do it. Maybe casting Levitate or similar effects just a bit before killing the mini bosses will give you what you need to follow-jump the gap. Just an idea, though.

I'm almost 100% sure that I can dps him down before the enrage timer without the buff from charges. I can reach peeks of 24k dps on some bosses but I never get below 20k dps on any static fight.
That makes 1.200k dps per minute. Enrage timer is on 6 min. It'd make 7.200k and boss is 5.800k. Only one tank needed so it should be the only one needing healing. Maybe the shaman healer can pass to dps too increasing a little bit the dps.

Not knowing the exact timer when the boss engages the raid, I think that preparing 7 toons for the jump takes a long time too.
I once fell down with my follower while dual boxing and was able to dps him from one of the platforms in the green goo. I don't remember though if I got the debuff from there. It can be a solution. If someone knows, please share.

Your whole group will need healing because he has a random-target chain-lightning, so it's not just the tank you'll need to heal.

So your plan re polarity shifts is just to fan out > 10 yards from each other? That should work, 10 man you'd only get a +40% dmg buff anyways at the max and he doesn't have alot of hp in 10-man. In 25-man though you def. need all the stacks of the buff to kill off his 30M hp.

That fight is a nightmare for a boxer. I honestly don't know how you can pull it off without moving your toons from debuffs cause he'll 1 shot toons.

I don't worry about 25m I only solo box it. It's ok if I have to heal raid, I have spare healers for this fight or 4 elem shaman if needed besides the resto one. The only problem here is the moment of the pull and the thing for which I don't have a solution yet.

We downed Thaddius yesterday as a 5 boxer + 4 boxer + 1 boxer. The main thing for me was to prioritize who jumped first. So tank went first + a healer. I left one of my ranged dps on the edge of the mini boss platform and she was in range so that was a jump I didn't need to worry about. I run three healers and one I just plain abandoned. So for me, 5 boxing, I just had to have 3 make the jump. If I'd thought ahead I would have had my other ranged dpser on the other platform and removed yet another jump. As far as the polarity shifts, the rule was to keep everyone spread out, but if I noticed a toon nearby the one I was actively driving had the same charge, I'd put them together.
