Default Getting 5 windows one 1 20" widescreen.

Ok, so im really wanting to 5box instead of 3box on my pc, Ive only got 1 moniter because i have nowhere to place my old CRT (i guess i could place it on the floor, but i wouldnt be able to see it, and i dont know how to get maximizer to work for a 2nd moniter, it always seems to default to my main moniter)

Is there any way you can think of that i would either be able to get 5 screens on my pc, or 2 on my CRT and let me keep my 3box view for my LCD?

I would much rather 5box than 3box, but atm im just kinda limited by hardware, or lack of knowledge on how to fix my problem.

Read the updated tutorial for maximizer. You can now set your own screen width and hight

Terbulous. To be honest I wouldn't really recommend it. I 5 box on one screen at the moment. But mine is a 24" and it's still a bit of a struggle. I can just about play the minion windows, but the text is small, and the details aren't really there, I doubt you'd even be able to read the text on your minion screens with a 20".

Keyclone supports dual monitors set up in horizontal span, but not dual view (which if you are running XP is not worth using when gaming). I run 2 22"s just fine.

I dont know what rez a 20" does (I imagine 1600x1200), but I do 1680x1050 with 4 WoW's on it, and when I need to manually do something on one of the small WoW's, I cna still get it done. If you only have one monitor, going 4 in the background, and having 1 big overlap as your main would seem quite nice.

If you can't get keyclone to work for you, you could always go with WoW Maximizer.

I use dual monitors in horizontal span (22" wide and 20" wide) with a resolution of 3360x1050 and with WoW maximizer I run my main in fullscreen on my 22" and the 4 clones on the 20" at 840x525. They are all quite playable and even the text is legible.

I'd advise using the CRT even if you have to have it on the floor for the time being. It will just save you some headaches of trying to figure out where your clones got lost, or if one of them decided to run away, plus looting will be a bit easier.
