One tip with the quest "Leave our Mark"
On your salves make a macro:

/assist <main>
/use <whatever the banner is called>
You get credit for each member that way (5-man team gets 5/15 per kill) That way you only need 3 kills to get the quest done, and you'll get that many just clearing your way in to do Shoot 'em Up
Unless you fly straight to the harpoons, but finding 3 mobs really is a non-issue.
