Default Really starting to have fun now :)

So my first foray into multi-boxing is really starting to be fun now.

Dual-boxing on one PC using HotKeyNet/Jamba as my only tools, running 2nd WoW at 800x600 windowed on my 2nd LCD.

    Primary toon: BE prot pally
    Slave toon: BE holy priest

Since I've surpassed the "magic level" 20 where pallies learn Consecrate, now things are really fun finally. Righteous Fury + Consecrate I can keep a large group interested in me and just let the priest heal me through the damage My funnest moment yet was in the lumbermill in the goblin area of Stonetalon where I ended up killing about 20 goblins in one long continuous fight. I just let the runners run and go get me more fodder Had to make good use of my Arcane Torrent to get casters to run into my consecrate, and still run around dragging my pack so that I could consecrate ranged/casters as necessary, but it was a helluva fun fight.

I think it's easy to say this is what boxing is all about, and this is why I chose this class combo...I knew that a prot pally + holy priest could handle huge packs of mobs. I think I killed almost all 15 goblin loggers for the quest in that one pull, plus got both toons the super-reaper 6000 blueprints when it came time to loot them all.

I just have to remember to keep an eye on the priest, a couple times she got healing aggro on a caster outside my tank's AE and nearly died before I realized to tell her to heal herself and ran the tank over to pickup the caster

And until I get Spiritual Attunement and Guarded by the Light, I do not have infinite mana on the pally and can't just spam Exorcism's to quickly get a mob's attention then switch back to my desired target...

The priest's mana seems to be nearly endless though as long as I heal strategically and don't just spam heals like mad. I prefer to let my pally get a bit low then use a Heal (vs Flash Heal), as it's more mana-efficient and still restores a huge chunk of my health, about 40-50% right now on a non-crit heal. Renew is a great mana efficiency tool and helps to keep the hp up.

Now the question...buffs. Are there any good addons out there that can be bound to a hotkey that will manage me maintaining buffs, right now I have two hotkeys set to tell the priest to Fort herself, then me, and the paladin just manually casts Righteous Fury, Seal of Righteousness, BoK on myself, then BoW on the priest. Would Pally Power be a good choice for managing the pally buffs? Would I have to setup the buff assignments every play session or can it be configured to remember to always do "Kings on pallies, Wisdom on priests"? Soon enough the priest will have Divine Spirit also that I'll want her to maintain on herself...and I'd rather not have a bajillion hotkeys setup for all the buffs but just have one hotkey tied to an addon that I can just repeatedly press to cast all the buffs I want from each toon...

Pallypower wont help with your Priest buffs. I use SmartBuff and bind it to the ` (Oem3) key on all accounts. Make sure you pass that key through to all windows too, you'd be surprised how often that doesn't happen. SmartBuff seems flakey with group buffs, but for your standard 30 and 10 minute buffs it works great. Just spam that ` a few times once in a blue moon or after a wipe and youre solid.

Note, unselect the 'Down' option for mousewheel buffing as your mousewheel will override your trigger key which is bound in Keybindings like everything else.

Glad you're having fun, I love getting past the roadblocks and sailing through levels with everything working. I just added a 4th toon and I'm still working everything out, but I cleared Slave Pens last night, and it feels good. (I'm not uber like a lot of the guys here, yet)

Are you running Pitbull, aggro meters, stuff like that? Pitbull is a little overkill for 2, but it's great for customizing your display so you can keep an eye on your alt's health - and make it a lot more convenient for "oh crap!" heals.

I'll second the SmartBuff (curse link) recommendation. It's well maintained and comes bundled with SmartDebuff too, which makes pally cleansing a complete doddle even if they're also tanking.

Once installed, it appears in WoW's standard keybinding UI so you can assign any key you want to it. For some reason I always find I have to do a /reloadui to get the key working after assigning, but that's a one-time thing.

I'm running a bunch of shadowmeld / stealth capable characters at the moment, and I quickly disabled the "buff on mousewheel move" feature after zooming out in an AB and breaking stealth to "accidentally" cast MotW on a passing friendly. Doh.

I did go out and get pally power and smartbuff to try 'em out. PallyPower is great, except for some reason even though it says it should support the self-only buffs of Righteous Fury and Seals (Seal of Righteousness or Justice are my only choices at this level), it only seems to support Righteous Fury. I'm still using a key on my action bar to cast my seal(s). (Note: no point to using Seal of Justice with a priest healing me, I believe in letting runners run to go get me more fodder for the killing )

Smartbuff is going for now on the priest with a single hotkey bound to buff fort on both my toons, but I found the problem...if my buffs are low, say 6 mins left and I want to rebuff, it says "Nothing to do" rather than rebuffing, so I went back to just using my two keybinds to fort the priest, then fort the pally.

To watch aggro I use Omen on the pally (main screen toon)

To watch the priest's health I both have her unitframe up (using XPerl), and also Jamba notifies me whenever she's attacked, or when either toon's health drops below 40%.

I have to say though, I can't believe how much threat a single consecrate with righteous fury on can generate. On a 3-4 mob fight, I only have to consecrate the pack once and even though the priest is healing me and I'm doing nothing else to make threat on the adds, they stay glued to me.

The other benefit of using Omen is that it plays a sound effect when I'm either about to gain threat (not an issue when you're the tank), OR about to lose threat...so if I'm losing threat on a target to the priest I tend to know in advance and can target it with an exorcism, judgement, or throw out another consecrate.
