some questions about leveling/picking a team.

first of all. i apoligise for my poor english and perhaps posted in the wrong section.


soon il be starting my first serious 5 boxing team.. i did 4 shaman before and my friend played 1 paladin on his account.. now he quited and so did i at lvl 31. now il be starting over.. with a new fresh team.. buying 3 new accounts to get RAF active again.. and also switching to horde.

Questions:

1. buy 3 new accounts roll horde and quest. (willing to pay another €90 for RAF) (will also get 5 month of free play... if im right)

2. for now lvl a DK on horde and boost as high as the DK can (and grand lvl 1 to 59).

3. just go back to alliance and finish that team of lvl 31.. (but those are only 4 shamans and i want 5 chars)

4. if i dicide to level 5 new chars. should i pick 5 shamans.. or 4 shamans and 1 paladin. this will be my first serious team.. so 5x sham is much easyer. but will i be able to run instances and such to get some gear.

im thinking about leveling them by questing instead of boosting because i could use the learning prosses.. but also considering that i would like a team on both alliance and horde server and also different classes.. like maybe 5x huntard or 4xlock+1priest. in that case boosting is faster..

This won't work. Firstly you need to have a levle 55 character to roll a DK, from what you said you stopped at 31. Also, the DK won't be able to grant anre more than a max of 2 levels. You can only grant 1 level for every 2 levels gaind. As the DK starts at 55, it will have only "earned" 5 levels to get to 60.

This sort of unnecessary thread bumping will not win you any friends here.

You need to remember that a huge number of our community come from the USA and are tucked up in bed at the moment. They'll be along later, and I'm sure you'll get some suggestions.

As for me, reading through your questions I don't care enough to answer - do what you want to do. There's enough information around here for you to make an informed decision on what will "work", and after that it's all down to personal preference.

This is incorrect. i dident mention this. but already have some 80 on my 2 main accounts..

this is how my accounts will be linked (C, D, E will be new bought accounts)

E -> D -> A

C -> B

This way. if i boost with account A. everyone still gets RAF XP. and i only have to boost for example account A & D to level 31 and grand level the rest. my DK is 57 atm.. :P still leveling

I would say go with a tanker and 4 shams. It's the easiest setup to learn with and will allow for heroics later in game. DK's make good tanks, the dk tanks also do a nice amount of dps. But the DK tank isnt quite as easy as a pally tank would be for boxing. Check out Hachoo's dk 4xsham movies in the videos section, he pretty much tears right thru heroics.

i think my endgoal will be just BG/ little Arena/ world PvP. and heroics are not realy my thing.. my main consern is.. what is fastes way for leveling.. cuzz i wana get there fast. but also wana be able to do low level normal instances.. not aiming at any lvl 80 normal/heroic instances

as soon as i get 80 il be hopping in pvp.

Well I get into some hardcore sessions sometimes lol. I use my 80 pally (prot spec) to run my 4 slaves thru dungeons. Than gift level whatever other classes I want, rinse/repeat 1-60 took me like 3 days, but now I gift toons to 30 than start from there so like 2 days per 60 team. I havent gotten any of my multi box toons above 60 yet because I'm really enjoying running teams thru pre bc isntances. So i'm gonna end up with alot of level 60's of every class/race lol.

Not trying to hijack the thread or tell you something you don't already know but it would be faster to boost them to 30 then grant them up to 59 right?
