    i've been in contact with the hosting company since i got word (thx gurb).

    home now... server still out. spoke with tech support personnel @ the hosting company. at this point, all they know is that there was a flurry of disk activity on the box for a while before it became unavailable. (very suspicious... sounds like a ddos so far)

    they will drop me a postmortem once everything is back up

    I third this idea. Once keyclone has sucessfully authenticated once, why would it need to keep "calling home" to reauthenticate if NOTHING on the computer has changed?

    it only 'calls home' on start up. once validated, its good to go. it won't validate again until you restart.

    otherwise, there is no way... as anything left on the box is easily dup'd/copied (thank the pirates and hackers for these issues)

    Glad to see the site is back up.

    Hosting company-side problems are always so frustrating - just sitting there waiting for someone else to fix it.

    I'm sure there is a rather large collective sigh of relief across the realms of Warcraft as multiboxers get their mojo back.

    just sitting here would be nice. having to answer the phone... that's another issue. it's cool though. only a couple of people were actually upset, everyone else understood (many were surprised when i actually answered the phone)

    just keep in mind... your license is FOREVER. if it comes up 'expired', this would only be temporary and i would be working on it to the best of my ability to resolve the issue.
