    Default A Different Boxing Question?

I was wondering if it was possible to run 2 copys of wow on the same pc 2 monitors with 2 keyboards/mice and be able to designate a KB to each application. My wife and I are wanting to play together now that im boxing and have multiple accounts but I dont wanna buy another pc at the moment I was wonding if anybody knows how to do this, if its even possible. I figured this would be the place to ask since I got all the info I needed for my 3xshammy Team Snap, Crackle, and Pop from this site.

I did use the search box and I didn't find the answer to my question so I asked, sorry for using the forums for what they're used for.

Windows has no facility for tying hardware to a specific application unless the application itself is hardware-aware. I.e.: WoW would have to be written specifically to support this. (I suppose it could be done with a hack but that's something that would definitely put you afoul of the ToS.)

Without getting a special keyboard driver for the second keyboard I don't think you can do it. You need to know which device generated the keypress and once you go past the device driver that isn't possible as far as I know.

I think the bit about the search effort is just his quote and not directed at you.

Not with a standard keyboard, but if you get a keyboard that can have all of its keys remapped in a way that doesn't effect the other/all other keyboards plugged in you could have one keyboard have every keypress be some random symbol that wow doesn't use by default and then change all of the keybindings in one account to the symbols, but one keyboard would be in charge of typing login info and for chat.

Technically, you might be able to do at least the keyboard part of it using half of one keyboard each, binding keys on your half in your installation of wow and unbinding everything else, and vice versa.
Or one of you could be using an X-Keys Pro of some kind and the other the normal keyboard, just bind all the x-keys keys to ctrl-shift variations of all the keys or something, and keybind accordingly.

But either way, one of you would be without a mouse.

A lot cheaper and easier to get a new computer of some kind.

    equation:

    Keyclone > 2 keyboards in 1 computer

    ?

(2 keyboards into 1 computer just doesn't make sense to me :P )
