Default Multiboxing with a second player

I recently got a good friend interested enough to return to WoW. I'll be playing with her of course, but part of me wants to resume boxing in some form as well. Playing a single character just feels so... incomplete.

I've seen posts where couples both multibox together, but the snag here is that she will only be playing one account.

Has anyone multiboxed with a single-boxer? It seems the most efficient setup would be to have her heal. Does anyone's experience differ?

    What're your experiences?

Should I just forget about multiboxing and play the game normally?
Perhaps dual-specs will be flexible enough...

Get your friend to make assist macros for your character and then you'll both technically be 'boxing' :P

LOL, I should probably give her my old shaman macros.

In all seriousness, this is how the wife and I started playing, with me only running 4 toons, but after about a month, she started asking about 5-boxing and talking about maybe giving it a try.

Now we run 10 mans together.

This is basically our setup, too. My husband runs tanks/melee and I run healers/ranged. When my sister plays she single boxes a tank which works out great with my team. I just find it much easier to position a ranged/healer group with someone else tanking. I drive my healer and heal with Clique, while I spam a button for my dps.

Dual 5-boxing raids with my husband is the perfect raid group!
