You know how sometimes a sight will burn into your brain, and you know immediately upon seeing it that you'll always remember it? That photo of that kid licking those pigs has scarred me. Badly.

My wife is an RN and has a patient that's a "rule out swine flu". So far, no test results back. Out of like 4 suspected cases in the state, she gets one of them to work with. :thumbdown:

Beyond the FUD spread by the media and government... Interesting and helpful facts,

Its a multi strain influenza. Two parts swine flu, one part avian flu, one part human flu.
This "version" has already mutated, and most likely will again.
It hits people with healthy immune systems hardest (opposite of normal influenza strains).
Washing your hands frequently will cut the risk of infection. (Public places, handling money, etc.)
If you get flu like symptoms, see your doctor sooner rather then later.
