Default Not much experience from instance boosting

I recently started multiboxing with RaF, and got a shaman and a warlock up to level 9 through questing. I took them both and my 80 priest to RFC, where I intended to instance boost. The preist is linked to the warlock, and the warlock is linked to the shaman. The problem is, when I round up a group of enemies to kill, the experience earned is tiny. Less than if I was killing non-elites and without the 3x bonus. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks a ton

Your doing it wrong. Booster account cannot be linked to the boosted account. Your two new accounts should be linked together and that's it. For it to work the way you have it set up. All 3 accounts need toons near the same level. Your 80 is breaking the raf rules.

So if I use my third account (linked to my second, which is linked to my main) to recruit a friend, will I be able to boost with the third and fourth accounts?

This doesn't seem right to me. Shouldn't the shaman and warlock be getting the bonus because they are linked to each other? The Priest shouldn't be getting anything, but that is normal.

Have the account that is not linked to your priest, RAF a new account and the experience will be much more what you were expecting. I think there can only be something like a 4 level difference between your RAF characters to receive the triple xp. Boosting through instances actually goes pretty quickly once you get it down. I was about to get two Warlocks to 50 in about 20 hours /played.

I have my accounts linked A->B->C->D with A being a high level booster (73) and while boosting all the lower chars are getting 3x XP (according to combat logs) While the amount might not be as high if I wasnt using the booster, going through instances so fast they level 1.5 levels a run so far.

Starbuck's right, you want to only have your warlock and shaman linked. Fortunately this is easy to fix. Just log into your priest's account and terminate the link to the warlock early. You'll end up with:

Priest - Unlinked (perfect for boosting).

Lock referred Shaman (RAF Bonuses for the both of them when leveling together).
    Hunter/D. Priest 60.........70.........80
    ProtPally + Holy 60.........70.........80
    Boomkin + Shamen 60.........70.........80

    Wait a second,

so If you have 3 accounts

    A is linked to B

and C is a level 80 char, (main account)

you can't boost A&B through instances if the paly is in the same party?

Because the level of the mobs is grey?

EDIT: found it by coincidence on wow forums, seems you can't do that
