Default Which version of Windows Vista ?

Because I have to different size monitors, I really want to use Dual View over horizontal span. With that directx bug, I feel it's time to upgrade.

Which version of Windows Vista would you guys recommend for multi-boxing? Will I miss some essential feature if I don't spring for the "Ultimate" version?

Personally, I think Ultimate is a waste of money. Hope Premium should be all you need.

I'll be honest, I see no point in not going 64bit in going to vista. I'm assuming you got the hardware to support 64bit. The memory limits of 32bit just are a no-go if I were to upgrade.

I think this *is* the problem right now. Lack of 64-bit drivers.

What lack of drivers? Ive been running x64 Home Premium for about 4 months now, and i have no problems finding drivers. Everything runs fine for me....(except my 6 year old printer...i need to update it anyway)

The driver problems are an old problem, thats pretty much been fixed by now, if any x86 (32 bit) drivers are released, they now release x64 drivers alongside them.

If your gonna go with vista, grab home premium, ultimate is a waste of money IMO, and get x64 bit version, im probably gonna upgrade to 8GB of RAM, just because i can and its so damn inexpensive, ive already got 4....although i doubt i can even use more than 4, just to say i have it

Only thing I need drivers for is my wireless. Luckily I havea laptop that I can use to bridge my network trough. It's not ideal, but it works.

Meaning: If ya got wireless and no laptop with a wireless adapter or you have some sort of freaky MB without an integrated network adapter, then you'll have to settle for 32-bit Vista. If not, then gogo 64-bit.
