For years, I was forced to have 2 x 768kbps DSL's in my home because of overuse. When everyone was on WoW, symptoms included: increased latency, lag spike and disconnects (same as when my brother turned on the pr0n torrents). Verizon was kind enough to automatically upgrade us to dual 1.5's when the switches became available (and they forgot to upgrade my bill =D) Eventually we move to a neighborhood that has Fios.
