Default Old Timer getting back into it

    Hello All,

I have Multiboxed from wow's release( 2box) through WOTLK release (multiple 5box teams) I have a couple of teams at 70 and probably more alts than would be considered healthy.
After taking time off of work at WOTLK release to rush a single box priest to 80 with some IRL friends and having them quit a week later, I got a bit burnt out and decided to take a break.

Well the breaks over and I am interested in getting back into it, and have a couple of questions:

    1. Is Magtheradon still the big multiboxing server, and are those of you that are there active and looking for more? I may transfer or reroll if there are people to hang out with.
I do both PVP and PVE, but probably more of a focus on PVP.

    2. How's the grind to 80 as a multiboxer? I did it in a one week rush with my priest but havn't really multiboxxed much woltk (I think my shammies are 72 and I did that grinding random mobs while waiting on friends.)
1Priest, 4Mages Qyx, Kwix, Aquix, Cquix, Quixar // 5 Shammies, Quixs, Quixas, Quixbs, Quixcs, Quixds // Quix Inc (Gurubashi PVP)

    1) It's basically the same as when you left. So take that as your judgement. I however, don't play on Mag. So i can't give you a 100% answer. I'm like 1 of 3-4 multiboxers on my server, and I like that attention

    2) Basically the same as it was to 70. Except in patch 3.1, there's now a way to loot corpses with your Slaves by just pressing a keybind. Not more having to scroll your mouse over to loot. So that helps with collection quests!
    - But as a note: The grind to 80 as a multiboxer shouldn't even be considered a grind. Enjoy the attention you get, murder allies all the time, cause commotion everywhere you go, enjoy yourself while you're a total one man army.

EDIT: Lol @ our pictures under our names. They're practically the same thing!

Can you explain how to loot corpses with the Slaves by just pressing a keybind?

I didn't see this mentioned in the patch notes.

There is a new keybind available "Interact with object"
You bind this to a key.
Select a corpse and then hit the key and it will loot it.

    For multi-boxing:
    Select the corpse
    Hit assist key
    Hit interact key

All alts will loot the corpse. Works with quest NPCs, flight masters, bankers, vendors, etc.

Also, for the looting, instead of just an /assist key, you can do the following:

    /targetlasttarget
    /assist <main toon>

With that macro on your alts, it will target the corpse without having to click on it after it dies. Handy for when you want to loot something like a collection quest item on your alts first. Also it will do the assist for picking up quests, flight paths, etc.

Also, for the OP, Mag is still pretty big with multiboxers. There are a few of us on regularly every day. I'm not sure there is a big focus on PvP, but Im looking to get there once I get my team(s) to 80.

As for the grind, I'm in the middle of it right now and can pull off .5 - 1.5 levels a day in the 70's with just a few hours a night.

At first I read this and thought "That's a great idea", currently I have it doing "/target party1target" (I only two-box). However, I'm wondering how targetlasttarget works when you've just killed 5 or 6 mobs and want the slave to loot them all for quest items...

Back to OP. Welcome back man. 70-80 is only as bad as you make it. Just mix it up with Pvp in there and its not much of a grind........... well its still a grind but you get the point
